Mersley Stud is located on 4 acres of prime pasture near Newchurch on the Isle of Wight. Although established for only a short time already we have a Anglo European Studbook Approved stallion in "Mersley Mon Capatain" . It has taken three years from planning, to purchase the land, build an access road and completion of 5ft high Oak post and rail fencing and stables. Imported from Holland both "Mon Capatain" (stable name "Cappi") and TombRaider (stable name "Lara") were selected for the foundation stock together they account for most of the breed lines popular in Holland.
